ABOUT Our Program
Our Program:
Our clinic offers an innovative approach to weight management, with the goal of improving not only quality of life and mobility for our patients, but also reducing perioperative risks. Our program is not a fad diet, a meal planning service or an exercise plan. Instead, it is a medical approach to the chronic disease of obesity. We understand that nobody chooses to live in discomfort and we are passionate about reducing the stigma associated with living in a larger body.
All visits with a member of our team are covered by OHIP. Our program involves the prescribing of medications that may or may not be covered by your insurance plan or your provincial health insurance coverage. However, we will do everything within our ability to assist you to obtain coverage for these mediations. Our clinic offers a convenient hybrid model with options for both in-person or secure virtual appointments with the doctor.
We look forward to helping you improve your health so you can get more out of life!
Obesity is not a lifestyle choice; it's a chronic hormonal and genetic disease.
